Protecting against the cost of maintaince and repair

Owning a vehicle these days can be costly. Maintenance and repairs are certainly required to keep your vehicle’s resale value high and coupled with insurance, tax and fuel costs – this could affect your pocket more than you think.

Customer Protect Warranties from Baytree Cars are designed to help with some of these bills, which arise when a mechanical fault requires expert repair. It will pay towards the cost of repair or replacement (parts, labour and VAT) should any covered component fail.

All of our vehicles come with a 6 month Gold warranty and include:

  • All mechanical and all electrical parts covered
  • Parts, labour and VAT
  • National repair network

Upgrade to Gold Plus cover and also include:

  • Age related Wear and Tear cover
  • All mechanical and electrical cover
  • £120.00 per hour labour rate
  • Purchase price claims limit
  • Unlimited Claims
  • Multimedia Cover

12, 24 and 36 month options available.

For cars under 8 years old and 60,000 miles.

Upgrade to Platinum cover for premium vehicles such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ferrari.

Customer Protect Assist

In conjunction with our mechanical breakdown warranties, we also offer Customer Protect Assist. Customer Protect Assist is a dynamic emergency assistance service designed by experts to suit you. Customer Protect Assist administered on our behalf by Call Assist, operates a 24 hour, 365 days-a-year service for you to contact should your vehicle experience a breakdown. The Call Assist Rescue Controllers are trained to the highest degree and are backed by the latest computer technology and mapping facilities together with a fully trained network of Recovery Operators throughout the UK.

Roadside Assistance and Recovery

If your vehicle suffers a breakdown, this includes running out of fuel, help will be sent to the scene of the breakdown and we will pay call out fees and mileage charges needed to repair or assist with the vehicle. If, in the opinion of the Recovery Operator, they are unable to repair the vehicle at the roadside the Recovery Controller will assist in the following way:

  • Arrange for your vehicle, you and up to 5 passengers to be recovered to the nearest garage able to undertake the repair, or;
  • If the above is not possible at the time of the breakdown they will arrange for your vehicle, you and up to 5 passengers to be transported to your home address or original destination.

A Recovery Operator will be despatched to your home address or within a one mile radius. Attempts will be made to repair your vehicle on the spot. If a repair is not possible they will transport your vehicle to the nearest repairing garage.
