1 of 1 Lamborghini SC18 Alston!

Introducing the one-off Lamborghini SC18 Alston created by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse (racing team).

This road legal, track focused supercar has the same chassis that you will find in the Aventador SVJ however elements have been taken from both the Huracan GT3 and Huracan Super Trofeo Evo for aerodynamic inspiration.

The headlights have been taken straight from the standard Aventador however the thin bar of LED lighting that you will find at the rear of the car, directly mimics the limited edition Centenario.

Performance figures have not yet been released however the car bosts the familiar 6.5L, naturally aspirated V12 which should give the SC18 similar acceleration figures of around 2.8 seconds to 62mph and a top speed of well over 210mph.

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018

The 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed has come to a close with this year marking the 25th anniversary of the event.

This year’s event showcased some of the world’s best car manufactures from likes of McLaren, Porsche, Koenigsegg and Aston Martin. We were fortunate enough to go down and witness all the newest models first hand.

Some of our highlights included the Singer DLS, a Singer and Williams collaboration on the retro Porsche 911, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, the Koenigsegg Agera RS Final Edition, the McLaren P1 GT, the McLaren 600LT and so many more.

The Most Desirable F1 Ever!

Originally finished in AMG green with a two tone cream/green leather interior, this McLaren F1 was first delivered to its owner in September 1998. Not long after, the car was handed over to MSO (McLaren Special Operations) and was transformed into the most desirable F1 to date. MSO fitted the same ‘LM-specification’ V12 engine found in the GTR race cars allowing the car to produce 680bhp.

There was only ever two road going McLaren F1’s fitted with this engine and this was one of them. McLaren also fitted something called a “Extra High Downforce Package” which included a revised nose with more air intakes and a rear wing. New additions to the car also included 18″ alloy wheels, upgraded headlights and a full exterior respray in metallic orange. The interior was re-trimmed in Magnolio leather and alcantara, a sat nav was fitted as well as an upgraded stereo system. McLaren also swapped the steering wheel, handbrake and instrument cluster with components found in the GTR race cars.

Geneva Motorshow 2018

What an amazing time it has been for some lucky team members at Baytree who managed to visit the Geneva motorshow last week. Just like every year, the show was full of brand new car releases and we had the chance to get up close and personal with them all. Ferrari stole the show with the all new 488 Pista, Lamborghini introduced the new Huracan Performante Spyder and McLaren revealed the Senna GTR. Other mid-market releases include the all new Mercedes A Class, Jaguar’s all electric I-Pace family SUV, and the updated Audi A6 Saloon. Other highlights included the Sport Edition Chiron which is the fastest Bugatti to date, whilst Koenigsegg showcased there special edition Regera d’Elegance.

Below we have highlighted just a small collection of our favorites, but if you would like to see more exclusive photos then head over to Baytreecars Instagram page and make sure you click the follow button!

Brand New G-Wagon!

Mercedes have finally revealed the new G-Wagon!The iconic Mercedes Benz G-Wagon has finally been updated and has just recently been revealed at the Detroit motor show.

Whilst most of the G-Wagons distinctive hallmarks still clearly very noticeable and present, it is inside the car where alterations have been made. The new car is 170kg lighter than before despite it being bigger overall, the interior has been brought up to date with dials being digitalised and highly configurable along with the seats offering massaging, heating and cooling capabilities.

The G-Class launches a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 G500, providing 416bhp which will be linked to a all new nine-speed automatic gearbox, starting price at around £95,000.

Road Legal Aston Martin Vulcan!

Automotive engineering firm RML, have produced the first ever road legal Aston Martin Vulcan, costing around £1.8 million.

Some alterations have been made to the standard race Vulcan, including new headlights taken straight from the DB11 as well as new  wing mirrors. A brand new badge has been fitted to the front grille along with a private registration plate being added too. Rear indicators have been added to the winglets of the rear wing. The front splitter has also been shortened yet it still keeps the essence of the original Vulcan. The car has been remapped to lower emissions in order to comply with UK regulations. Silencers have been added to the exhaust to make the Vulcan quieter as well as new cooling systems to control temperatures.

McLaren “P15” Senna

The Senna, named after the 3 time F1 World Champion has a 4.0l twin-turbo charged V8 making 789bhp compared to the combined petrol and electric total of the McLaren P1 which is 903bhp. There will only be 500 made and will be priced at £750,000.

Does the Senna replace the P1?

The McLaren P1 was compromised as it had to satisfy both track and road requirements therefore it is being replaced by two cars. The newly released, track focused Senna and a 3 seat GT car, inspired by the legendary F1, yet to be released currently codenamed BP23. The car comes with a full carbon fibre tub and McLaren has said it will be the most pared-back road going car they have ever made to date, sacrificing daily usability to maximise performance.

The interior is very similar to the 720s but perhaps the most striking feature of the Senna is the newly added glass panels in the doors.

Brand New Lamborghini SUV!

Powered by a twin-turbo 4.0l V8 with 641bhp, the new Lamborghini Urus goes from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds and 0-124mph in 12.8 seconds. The car will do a staggering top speed of 189mph and will be priced at £165,000.

The distinctive exterior design features reflect the SUV’s sporting and off-roading capabilities perfectly along with making the car look practical and elegant at the same time.

Some of Lamborghinis most iconic elements can be easily visible with the new Urus such as the distinctive hexagon shapes found in the interior to the center peak found on the front bonnet.

The name ‘Urus’ originates from a large Spanish fighting bull also referred to as Aurochs.
