Personal Contract Purchase (PCP): PCP is a popular financing method that allows you to pay for the car over a fixed term with lower monthly payments. At the end of the agreement, you have the option to:

  • Make a final 'balloon' payment to own the car outright.
  • Return the car with no further obligations, subject to mileage and condition terms.
  • Trade in the vehicle and use any equity as a deposit for a new finance agreement.

This option provides flexibility, especially if you prefer to change cars every few years.

Hire Purchase (HP): HP is a straightforward financing method where you pay fixed monthly instalments over an agreed period. Once all payments are made, ownership of the vehicle is transferred to you. There are no mileage restrictions, making it suitable if you plan to keep the car long-term.

Lease Purchase (LP): LP is similar to HP but includes a larger final payment, known as a balloon payment, at the end of the term.
